Rev. Harry Fetter joined the Swamp Fox Chapter FCF in 1980 and was elected as chapter president in 1989. He served until 1994 when he was called home to be with the Lord he served. His chosen FCF name is “Descending Dove”.
Harry promoted Swamp Fox FCF to increase our numbers and encouraged others to join and attend FCF events.
After Harry’s passing the chapter created its highest award in Harry’s honor, the Descending Dove Award, as a way to recognize those members of the Swamp Fox Chapter who have served as Harry did, having the same dedication and character as Harry both as a leader and a Christian.
Rev. Harry Fetter was the first to receive the award (posthumously). Potential recipients must be nominated and receive unanimous approval from the Swamp Fox Chapter staff.
