The Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship (FCF) endeavors to develop in each member the same courageous and undaunted spirit of the early frontiersman. High morale and contagious enthusiasm are developed by urging each member to strive to achieve five important accomplishments:
- Demonstrate Courage
- Display Achievements
- Develop Friendship
- Demonstrate Leadership
- Develop Woodsmanship
The FCF Pledge
I share with you the warmth and glow of this campfire. These crimson flames are a symbol of our friendship and adventures in camping. I promise to share with you the warmth of Christian friendship and with others the light of my Christian testimony. I promise to keep alive the spirit of FCF in my personal life and to observe at all times the principles of Royal Rangers.
Frontiersmen Membership Requirements
Boys and Young Men:
- Be a graduate of the fifth grade.
- Be at least 11 years old
- Be an active member of a chartered Royal Rangers outpost
- Earn the following required skill merits:
- Camping
- First Aid Skills or First Aid/CPR
- Complete the FCF Membership Application and send to the Swamp Fox Chapter Scribe.
- Complete a Frontier Adventure
Leaders:
- Complete the Ready and Safety Leader of the Outpost Leaders Advancement Levels (OLAL)
- Be an active member of a chartered Royal Rangers outpost
- Be a member in good standing in your local church.
- Complete the FCF Membership Application and send to the Swamp Fox Chapter Scribe.
- Complete a Frontier Adventure
